EduTone Community

 

The EduTone Learning Community (ELC)

is a 501c3 non-profit Corporation dedicated to the betterment of K-20 teaching and learning through the use of collaboration, cooperation, and the effective use of technology in the classroom and in the home.  ELC globally serves K-20 education organizations by facilitating and supporting free or open-source software, Web 2.0 tools and digital content while enabling secure and trust-worthy collaboration, communication and socio-economic networking across local, regional and global communities.  Members can freely access and exchange free or fee-based services and content. 

This is an integrated ecosystem of learning communities designed to encourage communication, collaboration, and the efficient research and procurement of products and services. Connected to the EduTone Gateay, the EduTone Community provides its members broad scale, or narrowly targeted, collaboration opportunities across multiple disparate educational communities. This is made possible by the integration of the EduTone Gateway identity management technology as the engine running behind the EduTone Community, and managing account creation and single sign on access to all EduTone Community offerings.

Upon joining the EduTone Community, all new members automatically get EduTone Mail, Calendar, Document storage and a personalized EduTone portal all based on the popular Google Tools.

In the spirit and recognition of an ever changing world without boarders, We The Teachers is designed to promote sharing and collaboration among teachers locally and around the world.

Your lifelong membership in We The Teachers is FREE--no matter where you teach and even after you retire from teaching. It gives you FREE access to lesson plans, tools, community forums, professional networking, topical interest groups, and much more.

 

My eCoach

My eCoach is an online learning community that allows you to learn, connect, and share with anyone at anytime from anywhere. My eCoach provides resources and tools to help you create any type of website and projects that you can publish to the Internet for anyone to view and use. There are communication and collaboration tools for you to share ideas and resources such as websites, images, audio files, and more with others. My eCoach provides unique coaching tools that allow for eCoaches to support the people on their team. Just imagine a virtual place with everything you need all in one place! We provide you the support you need to build your own learning community.

 

EduTone Federated Search

Search all of your community databases as well as millions of images, lesson plans, e-books, biographies, and educational games and activities all from your free EduTone federated search engine. Searchable databases include: We The Teachers; Thinkfinity; The Library of Congress, ERIC and more!
